Analysis of recycling brochure

The purpose of this brochure is to inform people about what the different boxes are for as well as what should not be put into the different boxes. This brochure is also ti inform the residence when their bins are going to be collected  this is so that if it is a bank holiday then they are still aware of the changes to the schedule and therefore will be aware of when to put the bins out as well as if they need to get rid of any of the rubbish before due to bins being overfilled. This brochure also gives the residents contact details so that if anything is unclear in the brochure then they have the information to get in touch and find out what it means. The target audience is for residence within the specific post-code, this is because every post-code has their bins collected on a different day. The age that this is target at is 20's and on wards this is because this is that age range that people own or rent homes so therefore have the responsibility to ensure that their bins are collected. 

The content of the brochure is very easy and simple to follow this is due to the style of font that is used as well as the way that the brochure is displayed. The font and size is the same all of the way through the brochure. The only difference in the text is the fact that all of the headings are done in larger text this is to make it clear that this is a heading and giving you information about what the heading is. Also whenever the word Monday is written it is in bold this is so that the reader is always aware that this is the day that the bins are collected. The images throughout the brochure link well with the text that is near them. These images are mainly photographs however there is one clip art image of a recycling truck. This brochure has not got a large number of images within it this is because these images are just to add color to the brochure not give any added information through them. Some of the images used in the brochure are clearly photographs however have been given the look of a clipart style of image this is due to the quality of how the image is
